The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies for the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering companies including new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency stated it can be alarmed regarding the significant range of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The goal in the Integrated sassa status check Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a high quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This really is as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no fully functional office focused on service the area daily. The services level produced for intervention encounters a high inflow of prospective beneficiaries, which makes it tricky for your Workplace to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more assets to enable the servicing of all shoppers and boost usage of Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
